Many of us already know the great diversity soybeans are used for, however one of the most unusual usages I have heard of recently is to feed a teacup pig!

You would not be alone if you are wondering what a tea cup pig is an why someone would feed it soy beans! a tea cup pig is a miniature pig that has been developed that way specifically from a strict diet. Some owners have used soy beans for this due to the high levels of protein and other nutrients and low fat content.

Anyone who manages Soy Beans knows its a full time job that has ups and downs, perhaps more so than many other industries. I’ve learnt the hard way that ‘protecting yourself’ is key to be able to effectively managing soy beans. This means you have to look after yourself and put safety nets in place if things go wrong.

I’ve been working with soy beans for over 15 years and seen my ups and downs, sometimes the harvest has been bad and I’ve had to go without an income for a season. From this hardship I learn to protect myself with income protection insurance, health insurance and even life insurance. These things are often easily over looked when always focusing on work, especially in the good times. It pays to put these things in place so if thing do go bad, you have peace of mind.

Soy beans are renowned for being healthy, but managing them from a business perspective is not easy!

It takes a lot of common sense and skills learnt over many years. I manage soy beans but this blog is not just about soy beans its also about living with managing soy beans and other things that happen in your life. I figure the more you organise your life, the easier it is to manage soybeans.
